How can you be holy and worship God properly? Are you following the Lord to the place that He wants you to be? How can you live your life under God’s blessing instead of the world’s curse? Join us as we study the final 3 books of the Pentateuch and hear what God has to say to us today in these areas. The Precept Upon Precept study series utilizes the Inductive Method of studying the Bible. It is a homework intensive, dig deep into the Word of God style of studying. It is designed for approximately 5 hours of homework per week. Our group will meet weekly to discuss the homework and insights we received during that week and to watch a lecture of Kay Arthur via DVD. Our in home study group is dedicated to studying the Bible in a deep and meaningful way and embrace Hebrews 5:13-14 as our motto verse.

Always True - 5 Promises when Life is Hard
Start Date: February 11, 2013 - Meets every other Monday night
Time: 7:00– 9:00 p.m.
Location:  Off Campus
Leader:  Carrie Gadd & Amanda Rozzana
For more information & to sign up, please email Carrie Gadd at cgadd23@yahoo.com.
Carrie Gadd and Amanda Rozzana will lead this group for women in their 30’s. This study will help us understand the nature of God’s promises, which are always true whether in good times or trials in the believer’s life. During an extended season of personal crises in his life James MacDonald discovered that God’s promises are always true and that we can trust God to be faithful to His word no matter what we face. These universal promises are based on biblical truths and principles that will provide hope to all who face hardship. The promises we will study are: God is always with me, God is always in control, God is always good, God is always watching, and God is always victorious.

Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
Start Date: Thursday, January 2013
End Date: Thursday, May 2013
Time: 6:00– 7:30 p.m.
Location:  Off Campus - Placentia
Leader:  Yon Hui Kim
The life of a woman today isn't really all that different from that of Mary and Martha in the New Testament. Like Mary, you long to sit at the Lord's feet...but the daily demands of a busy world just won't leave you alone. Like Martha, you love Jesus and really want to serve him...yet you struggle with weariness, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy.
Then comes Jesus, right into the midst of your busy Mary/Martha life---and he extends the same invitation he issued long ago to the two sisters of Bethany. Tenderly he invites you to choose "the better part"---a joyful life of "living-room" intimacy with him that flows naturally into "kitchen service" for him. This study shows all of us---Marys and Marthas alike---how we can draw closer to our Lord, deepening our devotion, strengthening our service, and doing both with less stress and greater joy.
