Pre-Marriage and Young Married Seminar
Are you engaged to be married or thinking about it? Are you newly married with a desire to have a godly marriage? If either of these descriptions fit you please join us in our upcoming seminar. This seminar is team-taught by two married couples from Friends Church. The curriculum includes biblical teaching about marriage combined with a workbook and exercises that will help you learn more about each other, including how to deal with your differences.
We can help prepare you for a lifetime with God in the center of your marriage. During the seminar, you will focus on positive strengths and traits in your relationship, along with eight practical skills that lead to a satisfying and biblically centered marriage.
Date: Sundays April 7- June 6
Time: 9:00am- 10:15am in Room 312 of the Worship Center.
Cost: $30 per couple for workbooks
Premarital Counseling and Preparation:
For those actively moving towards a wedding date and would like a Friends Church Pastor to perform the wedding ceremony the following requirements must be met.
- An on-line PREPARE/ENRICH inventory must be completed. $35.00 (paid directly online)
- Meet with a mentor couple for four one-hour sessions to explore your unique relationship traits. $30 for books and materials used during mentoring sessions.
- Read 4 books (reading list will be provided)
All of these requirements will be set up with you when you contact us with your wedding plans.
