We exist to REACH a non-believing world with the life changing message of Jesus Christ, to CONNECT them into the life of the Church by assisting with their needs and giving them opportunities to SERVE, and to GROW their faith by offering training classes and support groups.
International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day
Saturday November 22, 2014 8-12
Upper Campus - Building 4
This is one day a year when people affected by suicide loss gather around the world at events in their local communities to find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope. We will be showing the documentary "The Journey" provided by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In addition we will have a special speaker, Suzette Spence, M.A., M.F.T. She is a therapist that specializes in working with issues of depression and grieving. We will also be talking about preparing for the holidays.
If you are recently bereaved, come for support, practical guidance & information.
If you are further along in your journey of healing, please come to offer a compassionate ear, and to offer reassurance that it is possible to survive the tragedy of suicide loss.
