Helping Hands Offering
This Good Friday we are taking a special offering for our Helping Hands Fund. Good Friday is a time to be thankful for Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, laying down His life for us. One way we can say “Thank You” to God is with a special financial gift. Helping Hands assists the people in the body of Christ who call Friends Church home and are actively involved in the community of Friends Church through worship services, small groups, and serving. We believe it is the responsibility of the local church to support these committed attendees when there is hardship (Act 2:41-47). This support can come through resources such as The Well: Food Pantry, budget coaching, and financial aid. It is the commitment of the Helping Hands Leadership Team to not give a hand out but a hand up. This is done confidentially through an application process, personal accountability, and personal coaching in financial issues. The Helping Hands Leadership Team through Care Ministry is made up of godly spiritual leaders who have a background in finance.
If you need assistance from Helping Hands, please email Cindy Gosting in Care Ministries at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will get you an application.
If you would like to donate to Helping Hands fund please click here or mail a check made out to Friends.
Our Mailing address is Helping Hands, 18637 Yorba Linda Blvd., Yorba Linda, CA 92886.
